Guidelines for affirmations in practice

  1. Always state affirmations in the present tense

  2. Phrase them positively

  3. Make them short and specific

  4. State affirmations in the 1st person

  5. Phrase them in a way that feels believable and gets you excited

  6. Repeat daily and intentionally, noticing opportunities for their implementation and repetition

  7. Implement your affirmations when possibilities arise

  8. Edit your affirmations daily or as often as you like to fit your needs and development
