In this darkness,
as dark as earth and worms,
an invisible door.
Suddenly, inside—
how did I enter?
A birthplace-
A meeting place-
A space of creation-
I ask,
how might I live?
What would I release?
I look deep into the darkness
like I would your eyes—
there’s a laugh,
a lightness,
at the knowing.
I am no body.
Nobody.
And yet I am here—
free.
I can see.
Next time,
I will bring a seed.
I will sow.
I will sing this seed into a tree.
Next time,
I will come prepared.
And there is a next time!
Eureka!
To conjoin,
to return,
to come home.
